She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Hammond; and her grandson Silas Opie Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Lee Hammond of Lilburn, GA, Lynn (Robert Parks) and Shelia (Larry Ertley). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
