It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Brannon of Lilburn, Georgia, born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Brannon and Irene Smith Brannon. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brannon; his children, Robert Paul Brannon (Lisa), Angela Hynson (Kip) and Susan Lindsey (Travis); his siblings, Johnny Brannon, Kathleen Brannon and Ivarene Landress; his grandchildren, Jessica Brannon, Ashley Blue (Donnaven), Elizabeth Gardner (Jim), Nicole Hynson, Michael, Malachi and Kara Lindsey; and his great grandchildren, Eloise, Ashton, Bree, Abby, Ainslie and Jameson.
