He was predeceased by: his parents, Chandler Walter and Rubye Elizabeth Haynes Bray; and his brothers, Robert Chandler Bray and James Clifford Bray. He is survived by: his wife Angie Bray; his children, Jason Bray (Arezoo) of Acworth, Jon Poole (Natalie) of Hull and Candy Poole of Lexington; his stepsons, Brad Bates (Melissa) and Chad Bates; his siblings, Permelia Digamon (Phillip) of Hull, Douglas Bray (Mary Ellen) of San Jose, Jerry Bray of Lexington and Pete Bray (Carol) of Winterville; his grandchildren, Emersyn Poole and Hudson Poole; his father-in-law Bobby Hayes (Doris Hayes); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Walker (Joey) and Mike Meadow (Susan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winterville First Baptist Church Curb Fund.
