It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Watkins (Lexington, Georgia), born in Bryson City, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pomeroy Bradley and Irene Cline Bradley; and her husband Vernon Watkins. She is survived by: her children, Gary Watkins of Lexington, GA, Mike Watkins (Susan), Kathy W. Cowart (Terry), Debbie W. Brock (Dennis) and Tammy W. Ilsley (Kevin). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
