She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Mae Johnson Wilson and George Allen Peterman; and her siblings, R. C. Wilson, John Henry Wilson, Clarence Wilson, Julian Wilson, Grady Wilson, Eula Mae Jones and Sara Edna Caldwell.
She is survived by: her son Steve Peterman (Sharon) of Stephens; her brother Gene Wilson (Bobbie) of Tignall; and her grandchildren, Sabrina P. Ward (James), Stacie P. Beckham (Josh), Shannon Leeann Peterman, Stephanie P. Bridges (Mason), Reeve Ward, Emerson Ward and Maggie Beckham.
