He is survived by: his wife April Beard Smith; his children, Kelley Smith (Stacy Williams), Jason (Stephanie Smith), Kyle Saxon of Elberton, GA and Brandi (Tyler Harrison); and his siblings, Sarah Mae Seigler of Elberton, GA, Deanie Wilhite of Powder Springs, GA and Doug Smith of Elberton, GA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
