We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2023, at the age of 86, Gaynell Floyd of Lexington, Georgia, born in Crawford, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William David Cooper and Viola Reynolds Cooper; her husband Herbert Floyd; her son Bobby Floyd; her grandson Kenny Floyd; and her sister Barbara Goss.
She is survived by: her friend Stephens; her children, Gail Floyd of Lexington, Kathy Fulton (Tim) of Fort Mill, SC and Mark Floyd (Tami) of Lexington; and her sisters, Jean Swajger of Lexington, Jo Smith of Elberton and Ann Lundebo of Crawford. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a gift can be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
