He was predeceased by: his father George David; his wife Linda Burkhalter; and his siblings, George David Jr., Donnie, Hubert Elder, Ellis, James, Charlie, Eugene, Ben, Tony, Sue Meeler, Katie Mae Meeler, Helen Hicks, Sandra Mobley, Bernice Martin, Thelma Ross and Juanita Henson.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Shirley Burkhalter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
