It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Vernon Barger (Lexington, Georgia), who passed away on December 18, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Claude Vernon Barger; and his sister Mary Ellen Atkinson. He is survived by: his parent Ruth Wylie Barger; his son Wayne; his grandchildren, Luke, Brandi Barger, Holly Barger and Hannah Barger; his great grandchildren, Haleigh, Hunter, Zay, Zurri and Heidi; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Atkinson, W. D. Albertson, Peggy Greenway, Janet Ruff, Caroline Ruff and Jean Ruff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
