She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Gilbert. She is survived by: her mother Mary Lane of Leslie; her husband Joe McElroy of Leslie; her children, Joshua McElroy of Leslie, Eric Gilbert of Leslie and Joy Hernandez of Plains; and her sisters, Carolyn Parham of Vienna, Linda Morrison of Cordele and Diane Lowe of Cobb. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
