He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Lawson Waites; his brother Mickey Waites; and his niece Amanda Jean Waites. He is survived by: his mother Betty Jean Roberts Waites; and his siblings, Darrell Waites (Patsy), Tim Waites (Patty) and Tanya Hayes (Dale).
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery.
