She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Exum and Fluellen Hopson Exum; her husband Lendon "L. K." Bennett; her son Lendon Gary Bennett; and her brothers, Albert Exum and Roy Exum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Wiggins of Lenox, Dianne Rye of Adel and Vicki Swain (Don) of Nashville; her grandchildren, Kristie Cox (Chip), Wendy Gaskins (Gary), Josh Wiggins (Shauna), Chris Bennett (Brooke), Miranda Tucker (Josh), Mike Woods (Wendy), Johnny Woods (Leslie), Donnie Woods and Danial Cribb (Melissa Adams); and her daughter-in-law Marcia Bennett. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Purvis Funeral Home (207 E Mitchell St, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
