He was predeceased by: his father James Dorsey Lumpkin; his uncle Johnny; his aunt Georgeann Simmons; and his grandparents, Lessie, Bertha Simmons, J. D. and Margaret Lumpkin.
He is survived by: his mother Ellen Faye Simmons Tucker; his stepparents, Melvin Tucker of Sparks and Sandy Lumpkin of Ashburn; his aunt Marguerite Lewis (Buddy) of Cordele; and his cousins, Steve Simmons (Lisa) of Lenox, Jerry Simmons (Sherri) of Chula, Phillip Simmons (Kim) of Nashville and Lisa Smart (Erron) of Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Purvis Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
