With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorris Roberts Robinson of Lenox, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Creed Roberts and Carrie LeAnnie Godwin Roberts; her son Cliff Robinson; and her siblings, Rev. Curtis Roberts, Glenn Roberts and Ollie Lindsey.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. James "Dan" Robinson of Lenox; her son Tim; her daughter-in-law Gina Robinson of Lenox; her great grandchildren, Beau Robinson, Brady Robinson of Lenox, Joseph Robinson, Aaron Robinson of Adel, Jeb Robinson of Tennessee, Ryleigh Beth Robinson of Valdosta and Ashton Robinson of Moultrie, Georgia.; her grandsons, Chris Robinson, Jake Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Joseph Robinson and Aaron Robinson; and her friend Shane Daughtrey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oaky Grove Baptist Church (Georgia Hwy. 125 at Brookfield Lenox Road, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oaky Grove Baptist Church (125 County Road 363, Nashville, GA 31639). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Oaky Grove Church Cemetery (125 County Road 363, Nashville, GA 31639).
