She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Cooper and Bernice Hill Cooper; her husband Henry "Buddy" Exum; and her grandchildren, Albert Shively and Kye Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Lewis (Keith) of Nashville, Alisa Brogdon (Al) of Nashville, Carolyn Slater (Rick) of Sparks and Charles Darley of Willacoochee; and her sister Ethel Corbitt of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a niece and 2 nephews.
