He is survived by: his wife Florence Frazier Carter of Lenox; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Julie Carter of Morven, Georgia; his daughter Kay; his children-in-law, Mickey Fletcher of Douglas, Georgia, Jane Kinchen of Athens, Georgia and Richard Dean of Climax, Georgia; his grandchildren, Matt (Lacey Carter), Lacey (Michael Reese), Mandy (Jesse McMillan) and Joshua Fletcher of Youngsville; his stepgrandchildren, Ric, Dia Dean of Cordele, Georgia, Carrie, Aaron Peralta of Climax, Georgia, Carla, Michael Sanford of Belgrade, Montana, Heather of Glen Allen, Virginia, Joel Prathers of Glen Allen, Virginia, Suzanne of Glen Allen, Virginia, Brian Kilgore of Glen Allen, Virginia, Casey, Tina Kinchen of Athens, Georgia, Ashley, Anna Beth Kinchen of Bainbridge, Georgia, Cody and Jessica Kinchen of Atlanta; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Carter of Dawson, Georgia and LaReeta Carter of Homerville, Georgia.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren; brother.
