He is survived by: his wife Martha Jordan Clyde; his children, Janet West (Willie) of Leesburg, GA, Tayona Simmons (Christopher) of Leesburg, GA, Latresa Clyde (Jacquise) of Columbus, GA, Waylon Jackson (Ericka) of Albany, GA, Ernest Clyde, Jr. (Terisa) of Albany, GA and Jason Clyde (Tempestt) of Cincinnati, OH; his goddaughter Elaunshae Butts; and his siblings, Lizzie Harris (Johnny Will) of Leesburg, GA, Annie Clyde of Leesburg, GA, Bennie Mae Clyde (Billie) of Dawson, GA, Lillie Mae Butler (Bill) of Dawson, GA, Ernestine Perry (Thurna) of Albany, GA, Lillian, Ben Lee Clyde of Leesburg, GA, Jimmy Lee of Albany, GA and Johnny Lee Clyde (Pam) of Albany, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
