He is survived by: his father Joel Lavant; his wife Robin Riddle Lavant of Leesburg; his children, Santana Cooper, Sanquesha Lavant, Alfonso Lavant, Jr., Antione Cooper and Christopher Lavant; his stepchildren, Lisa Nunley and Timothy Nunley; his siblings, Willie Lavant, Cedric Hodge, Darlene Jordan, Darrell Jordan, Jonah Lavant, Val Gaines and Michelle Meritt; and his grandchildren, Jamarion, Lavender, Joel, Cameron, Nylan, Addison, Aden, Creedon, Brooklyn, Eternity, Na'Llajea and Naryiah. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
