With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Oscar Stapleton of Lawrenceville, Georgia, born in Lumber City, Georgia, who passed away on August 15, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W, Sr. and Annie Brewer Stapleton. He is survived by: his siblings, Myrtle Wood, Hudson Stapleton, Inez Evans and Wiley Stapleton; his wife Faye Stapleton; his children, William Randall Stapleton of Lawrenceville and Cyndee Stapleton O'Quinn of Warner Robins; his grandson Sean Michael McGraw (Rebekah) of Warner Robins; and his sister Catherine Smith of Glenwood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and in-laws.
Flowers are accepted, however, donations are preferred to go to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Green Acres Baptist Church, 901 Elberta Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
