She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Hughes and Yaeko Kawabata. She is survived by : her husband Darryl; her children, Jenise Johnson (Albert, III) of Rosharon, TX, Jenelle Pieters (Omar) of Houston, TX and Marcus McCorkle (Chanel) of Northbridge, MA.; her sister Jaymie Hughes of Houston, TX; her siblings-in-law, Darla Wade of Gardendale, AL, Durentha "DeeDee" Hines (Ernest) of Livingston, AL, Dawn Ward of Madison, AL, Dion Jones (Amber) of Sugarland, TX, Derek Jones of Fairburn, GA and Duane Jones of Jackson, MS.; her grandchildren, Justin, Jaden, Aryn, Drake and Andrew; and her pets, Tiger, Loki and Luna. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
