She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Lovin and Ida Knight Lovin; her siblings, Horace, Joe Lovin, Dorothy Spain, Runelle Clark, Helen Wells and Faye Sikes; and her great grandchild McKayla Samples.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Samples (Sheryl), Colonel Phil Samples (Diana) and Sherry Samples Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Bebe Rogers (Jason), Caleb Samples (Katelyn), Marie Bauch, Phil Samples, Jr. (Marjorie), Carolyn Daviss (Joe), Blake Lancaster (Chancey) and Chase Lancaster (Sarina May).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Lawrenceville (120 Scenic Hwy S, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.

Those desiring may make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or American Heart Association in memory of Sibyl Lovin Samples.
