With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Stewart Harper of Lawrenceville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Douglas L. "Doug" Harper, III; her parents, Burnis Edgar Stewart, Sr. and Harriet Davis Stewart; and her father-in-law Douglas L. Harper, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Douglas L. "Doug" Harper, Jr.; her daughters, Elizabeth Gann (Parker) of Loganville, GA and Heather Hunter (David) of Buford, GA; her grandchildren, Parker, Claire of Loganville, GA, Connor Gann (Leah) of Monroe, GA, Hayden and Hadley Hunter of Buford, GA; her siblings, Maetha Elliott (Henry), Betty McGinty (Phillip), Nancy Zwald (Bobby), Laurie Reece (James), Susan Stewart, Eddie Stewart (Robin), Nelson Stewart (Barbara) and Charles Stewart (Amy); her mother-in-law Anne Harper; and her siblings-in-law, Brian Harper (Gail), Steve Harper (Connie), Greg Harper (Janet) and Jenny Harper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
