He was predeceased by: his parents, G. T. Rearden and Annie Mae Barrett Rearden; his wife Hazel Shepherd Rearden; his brother Donald; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Shepherd and Charlie Moate.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Smith (Bill), Martha Moate, Becky Evans (Joe), Tom Rearden (Sue) and Ken Rearden (Farilyn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
