He was predeceased by: his mother Victoria González; and his brother José of Jesús Serratos. He is survived by: his sons, Joel Serratos and Elija González; and his siblings, Oscar, Osbaldo, Rodrigo, Imelda, Norma, Maribel, Sonia and Victoria. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
