It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Laye Freeman (Lawrenceville, Georgia), who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Gwendolyn Laye find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laye Sr. Laye and Laura Laye; and her sister Janis Bell. She is survived by: her son Bill Freeman (Carla) of Edneyville, NC; her granddaughter Laura Myers (Jim) of Winder, GA; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Myers and Ethan Freeman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (300 Simonton Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
