She is survived by: her husband James Leon Powell; her children, Michael William Powell and Patricia Lynn Ford; her grandchildren, Marc Philip Powell, Ashlyn Danielle Powell, Damon Eric Ladd-Thomas, Jr., Emma Kathleen Ladd-Thomas and Madelyn Eve Ladd-Thomas; and her sisters, Virginia Schrader, Linda Karow and Joyce Beardsley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peachtree Road Lutheran Church (3686 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
