He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Akridge and Lucille Akridge; his wife Nancy Blanchard of Hinsonton; his children, Cliff Akridge (Chris) of Dacula and Jennifer Odom (Zack) of Alpharetta; his grandchildren, Corinn, Arden Akridge, Alexa, London and Corbyn Odom; his siblings, Max Akridge of Doraville and Eleanor Giles of Tifton; his sisters-in-law, Fran Goode Akridge and Kitsy Blanchard; and his nieces, Karen Iampietro, Sandra Giles, Maurica Peacock, Betsy Bryant, Kelli Clifton and Krista Dunahoo.
