He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Arnold; and his children, Clarence Ronnie Pettis, Jr. and Vicky Lea Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Margie E. Pettis; his stepdaughters, Karen Barlev and Renee Cooke (Scott); his grandson Scotty Nelson (Lacee); his great grandchildren, Harper, Jack, Olivia, Charli and Blake; his granddaughter Katy Bonds (Darrelle); his great grandchild Zeke; his stepgrandchildren, David Lev, Rachel Barlev and Brody Lowe; his stepbrothers, Danny Crispen (Judy) and Freddy Crispen (Bonnie Stevenson); and also, Noah and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Gwinnett Memorial Park (925 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
