Susan Thielman Atkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 77, Susan Thielman Atkins of Lavonia, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Edward Thielman and Jean Wimer Thielman; and her sister Sandy Moll. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Thomas "Tom" Atkins, Jr.; her sons, Matthew (Leslie Atkins) and Andrew (Ashley Atkins); and her grandchildren, Branch Atkins, Maddie Atkins, Brooks Atkins, Reagan Atkins, Walker Atkins and Charis Atkins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hartwell First Methodist Church (200 E Howell St, Hartwell, GA 30643). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tom Atkins Evangelistic Association (tomatkins.org), P.O. Box 701, Lavonia, GA 30553.
