It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Wood Wilbanks of Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William and Artie Mae Nix Wood; her son Ned Rholetter; and her siblings, Roy Wood, Elease Peeples, Beatrice Wood, Ruby Nell Chastain, Ruth Wooten, Edna Cape and Gatha Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Rholetter Arterburn, Cheryl Wilbanks (Jeff), Troy Rholetter (Lori), Talmadge Rholetter, Nelson Rholetter, Tony Rholetter (Dee) and Ernie Wilbanks (Lisa); and her siblings, Mildred Ramey Turner (Wood), Preston Wood and Rayford Wood. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
