We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Richard Jernigan of Lavonia, Georgia, born in Alexandria, Virginia. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. Jernigan and Sarah Mary Kaiser Jernigan; his wife Sarah Herring Jernigan; and his stepson Raymond Whiting. He is survived by: his children, Shannon, Rick Moss of Caandler, NC, Kathy, Bryan Ansley, Wayne and Vivian Whiting. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
