He was predeceased by: his parent Hollis Dewitt; his sibling Lunon Dewitt "Bo" Porterfield; and his nephew Michael Porterfield. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nell Robinson Porterfield; his children, Cory Porterfield (Lavonia) and Crystal Porterfield Yakich (Mike); his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Peyton; his great grandchild Alice; and his siblings, Randy Porterfield, Darlene Bryson, Cathy Brown and Lavonia.
