She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Mauldin, Sr. and Fannie; her husband Hugh Steed Lankford; her daughter Brenda Floyd; and her siblings, Sue Thorton, Guy Mauldin, Jr., John "Scut" Mauldin and James Mauldin.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Gladish of Carrollton; her sons-in-law, Shirley Moorhead (Mike) of Bowersville, Melanie Roberts (Rickey) of Lavonia and Terry Floyd of Lavonia; her grandchildren, Terrell Floyd, Christopher Royal, Michelle Jorschumb, Brandon Moorhead, Molly Harris and Josh Roberts; and also Garland Mauldin. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
