She was predeceased by: her parents, E. J. Hewin and Maude Hewin (Grant); and her sisters, Dorothy Evelyn H. MacKay, Mary Elizabeth H. Ray and Ann H. Price.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Wade, James D. "Jimmy" Turner (Jimmie Ann), Susan Odom and Linda T. Parris (Ken); her grandchildren, Amy L. Odom, Melissa A. Clifton (Greg) and David G. Turner; and her great grandchildren, Landon Garrett-Clifton, Carter Clifton, Adele Clifton and Nathan Robinson.
