He was predeceased by: his parent Milton Hix; his wife Virginia Cromer Hix; and his siblings, Phil Hix, Lemuel Hix, Ann Brown and Bobbie Nichols.
He is survived by: his parent Mamie Madden Hix; his son Mark Hix (Joy) of Bowersville; his siblings, Dean Hix of Marietta, GA, Leon Hix of Lawrenceville, GA and Nell Parker of Lebanon, OH; and his grandchildren, Blake Hix and Brandon Hix.
