He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Davis and Peggy Davis; his former wife Lynn Marie Davis; and his brother Andy Davis. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Branch Davis; his daughters, Beth (James Plunkett), Jennifer (Nick Barton) and Tasha (Greg King); his grandchildren, Eli, Hannah Plunkett, Ladon, Arya Barton of Amelia, AJ, Tyler and Brianna King; his great grandchild Cora Hopkins; his siblings, Maggie Scheuer (Joe), Dee Dee Davis and Amy Spicer; and his sister-in-law Lucinda Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553).
