We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2021, at the age of 90, Jimmie Ruth Floyd of Lavonia, Georgia, born in Franklin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Childs and Nettie Childs (Brock); her husband Aaron Grady Floyd; and her siblings, Sue Hill, Willene Self, Dan Childs, Lloyd Childs, Ray Childs, Robert Childs, Roscoe Childs and Walter Childs.
She is survived by: her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Lucy Floyd of Lavonia; her grandchildren, Nick, Kristen Floyd of League City, TX, Chelsea, Tyler Hill of Lavonia, Caitlin and Alex Kraeling of Maysville; and her great grandchildren, Graeme Floyd, Caroline Hill, Mollie Kraeling and Rhett Kraeling.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made to Poplar Spring Baptist Church, Homebound Ministry, 67 Poplar Springs Church Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
