He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Ann Alzen of Toccoa, GA, Jennifer Lynn Starcher of LaHarpe, IL and Brenda Marie Shaffer of Kihei, HI; his sisters, Connie Handzo of Roseville, IL and Karen Carey of Lavonia, GA; and his grandchildren, Eveian Shaena Alzen, Joanna Nicole Alzen, Noah Luke Phillips, Jonathan Jaysean Alzen, Rodmond Raynor Alzen and Olivia Grace Pihaikealoha Shaffer.
