She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Pinkey "Pink" and Jesse Mae Morgan Vandiver; her husband Robert James Maxwell; and her siblings, Barbara Sosby, Johnnie Nabors and Yvo Walters.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby (Gail Maxwell), James (Michelle Maxwell) and Gary (Angie Maxwell); and her sisters, Ann Redd, Darlene Mauldin and Lavonia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
