He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dorsey King, Sr. and Carlyne Walters King; his former wife Jimmie Ann Dowis King; his brothers, Hugh King, Jr., Jim King, Morris King, Bob King and Johnny King; his grandchild Courtney King Wideman; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Kurt King and Arden Willow King.
He is survived by: his wife Trill Farrow King; his sons, Ted King and Tim King; his grandchildren, Rebecca Kettle, Rusty King, Reagan King, Kirstin Williams, Alex King, MattiGrace Farrow, MaisyBeth Farrow, MaeRose Farrow, Rocky Farrow and Austin Farrow; and his siblings, Tommy King, Doug King (Sandra), Jane Snelling (Tom), Priscilla Randall (Russ) and Nancy McDaniel (Don). He is also survived by several great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
