He was predeceased by: his parent Era Ayers; and his siblings, Lloyd Ayers and Mary Ayers. He is survived by: his parent Mamie Ayers (White); his wife Donna Lynn Ayers (McCree); his children, Gregory Ayers of Lavonia, Wanda Ayers of Concord, Jeff Ayers of Griffin, Preston Ayers of Lavonia, Kathy Lynn of Martin and Randy Ayers of Madison County; and his siblings, James Ayers and Barbara Ann Hillman.
