Gene Carroll Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Carroll of Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Carroll to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene Carroll, Sr. and Edna Hyde Carroll; his brother Joe Carroll; his daughter Patricia Carroll Hatchett; and his grandson Brian Hatchett.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Garner Carroll; his son John Carroll (Peggy); his grandchildren, Kyle Oglesby (Preston), Kinsey Bartlett (Hunter), Carson Carroll and Michelle Hatchett (Patrick); and his great grandchildren, J. P. Oglesby and Myers Oglesby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Gene's memory, to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
