It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Broome of Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. C. Broome and Leila Honea Broome; his daughter Tracy Farley (Broome); and his siblings, Chevis "Rudy" Broome and Peggy Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Duchie Faye Broome (Hobbs); his sons, Chevish "Pete" Broome (Amanda) and James Kevin Broome; his grandchildren, Samantha Gibson (Farley), Selina Sanders (Farley), Adam Broome, Peyton and Georgia Broome; and his sisters, Bonnie Whitsel, Reggie Kennedy, Barbara Ann Gilmore and Shirley Morris.
