He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Judson Walters and Robbie Maret Walters; and his siblings, Lorimer Walters, Sarah Claudia Walters Satterwhite and Bobby Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Swanson Walters; his children, Dale Walters (Susan), Don Walters, Dawn Walters and Dennis Walters (Judy); his grandchildren, Jessica (Micah), Morgan (Kyle), Mackenzie (Teren), Sara (Joey) and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Kasli and Coast.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Franklin and Hart County Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapters.
