He was predeceased by: his parents, William Floyd Byrum and Myrtice Gray Byrum; his brother Floyd Eugene Byrum; and his niece Tonya Manley Jordan. He is survived by: his siblings, Gail Manley of Lavonia and Thelma Doker of Hartwell; his nieces and nephews, Herschel Dale Manley of Hartwell, William Wayne Manley (Tanya) of Martin, GA, Teresa Berardesco (Bobby) of Hartwell and Pat Richardson of Hartwell; and his close friends, Marvin Shiflet and Eddie Carey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Springs Baptist Church, 2229 Rock Springs Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553.
