He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Clelland and Louise Tyson (Hale); his wife Brenda Tyson (Bartlett); his son Stephen Bartlett "Bart" Tyson; and his brother Bobby Tyson.
He is survived by: his son Brian C. Tyson; his grandchildren, Brandt Bartlett Tyson and Charles Andrew "Charlie" Tyson; and his siblings, Jean Tyson, Ted Tyson and Paul Tyson. He is also survived by others family members and friends.
