He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Catherine Bell Alewine; his son Glenn; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Alewine of Suwanee, GA; his daughter Wanda; his son-in-law Marvin Maddox of Lavonia, GA; his grandchildren, Stacey, Brian Alewine, Blake, Tiffany Alewine, Ryan Shaw, Clint, Jaylah Shaw, Michael Workman, Jennifer and Moe Clegg; his great grandchildren, Casey Cole, Claire Cole, Collette Alewine, Caitlyn, Corey Miller, Chloe Clegg and Cierra Clegg; his great great grandchild Emani Miller; his siblings, Julie, Billy Herring and Charles Alewine; and his caregivers, Marcie Barrett, Jennifer Smith, Wanda Gettys, Tugalo Amedisys, Tara, Melissa, Dr. David Yates, Morgan Carter, Dr. Stephen Pinkerton and Michele Darnell.
