He is survived by: his wife Margie Whiten Shirley; his children, Tony Shirley of Lavonia, GA and Theresa Kesler of Lavonia, GA; his siblings, Johnny Shirley of Lavonia, GA and Mary Ben Rice of Hartwell, GA; his grandchildren, Kristen Smith and Dale Shirley; and his great grandchildren, Trey Silvia, Waylon Smith, Hunter Shirley and Emberlyn Shirley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shoal Creek Baptist Church (1325 Shoal Creek Church Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
