She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ricks and Lorene Evans Ricks; her son Billy W. Reed; and her brothers, Johnny Ricks, Dorsey Ricks, Mark Ricks and Billy Ricks.
She is survived by: her son Wayne Reed (Beth) of Lavonia; her siblings, David Ricks of Knoxville, TN, Opal McDowell of Hartwell, Sara Alice Fleming of Hartwell and Catherine Woodall of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Ashleigh Haley, Austin Reed, Leeanna Reed and Rebecca Wilson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643).
