She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Rice and Imogene York Rice. She is survived by: her husband Walter Thompson; her children, Thomas Thompson (Amy), Robert Thompson (Crimson Hartley), Brittany Thompson and Victoria Thompson; her brothers, Gary Rice (Karen) and Greg Rice (Alison); her grandchildren, Dakota Thompson (Mallory) and Isaiah Thompson; and her great grandchild Beren Thompson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home-Lavonia (355 Bear Creek Rd, Lavonia, GA 30553).
